Soars beyond basic chili powder for amazing depth of flavor that will launch your chili game into the stratosphere.
3 lb ground chuck
2 bell peppers, diced
1 lg sweet onion, diced
5-6 cloves garlic, chopped4 ribs celery, finely diced
large can petite diced tomatoes
large can diced tomatoes
1 can black beans, drained & rinsed
1 can red beans, drained & rinsed
1 can pinto beans, drained & rinsed
2-5 Tablespoons SMSF Chili Mama
2 bay leaves
1-2 Tablespoons Worchestershire sauce
1-2 Tablespoons hot pepper sauce (Panola "Bats Brew" highly recommended)
In large stock pot drop raw ground beef, mash with potato masher to remove the appearance of the grinder strands. If you skip this step, the meat cooks to look like worms--Mama does not like that!! Once meat has been mashed, turn burner to medium-high heat.
Cook over medium high heat, stirring occasionally until only about 30% pink remains. Drain fat. Return to heat, gently fold in the onions, garlic peppers and celery. Continue cooking until no pink remains and vegetables have softened. Add tomatoes, beans and SMSF Chili Mama, bay leaves, worcestershire, and hot sauce. Stir gently, reduce heat to low, loosely covered, stirring occasionally for 90 minutes. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Dark chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, mustard powder, paprika, salt, raw cane sugar, turmeric, onion, celery, carrot, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, red pepper flakes, black pepper, cayenne, sage, basil
